Made of superior buffalo leather, the Protanner Leather German Reins are an indispensable working tool! 

The German reins are to be used when working with young horses or any other horse whenever the need for balance and flexibility arises.

They are equipped with snap hooks for attachment to the girth. 

German reins consist of two reins.

They are attached between the forelegs to the girth.

The two remaining parts must pass through the rings of the bit, from the inside to the outside, to come into the rider's hands.

Reining not allowed in competition.

German reins - in experienced hands - can be a dressage aid. Be sure to assess your own riding ability and training in this area! German reins used incorrectly or in inexperienced hands can cause pain to the horse and real permanent damage.
