Protanner German Reins Smooth Leather are designed to work and muscle the horse into a good neck attitude.
Made of superior buffalo leather, they are very hard wearing and ideal for everyday use.
German reins consist of two reins.
They are attached between the forelegs to the girth.
The two remaining parts must pass through the rings of the bit, from the inside to the outside, to come into the rider's hands.
Reining not allowed in competition.
German reins - in experienced hands - can be a dressage aid. Be sure to assess your own riding ability and training in this area! German reins used incorrectly or in inexperienced hands can cause pain to the horse and real permanent damage.
