ANTARES - Long classic girth

The long classic girth is specially designed to provide optimum comfort for sensitive horses.

Its anatomical shape allows real freedom of movement, encouraging the horse's locomotion.

The slim cut and side elastics provide a perfect fit and extra comfort.

The girth's offset straps limit pressure zones on the horse's thorax, ensuring balanced pressure distribution when strapping. This allows the horse to move freely and unhindered.

The classic long girth also features a central attachment ring covered with a leather tongue, which reduces the risk of snagging and offers additional security. 

For optimum use, we recommend adding a long girth liner (sold separately). This lining offers numerous advantages for the comfort and protection of the horse. It prevents irritation and friction on sensitive skin, while being washable and hypoallergenic.

Choosing a leather girth offers many advantages. Leather is a high-quality, hypoallergenic material that provides optimum comfort for the horse. It is also renowned for its strength and durability, guaranteeing long-lasting use of the girth. 

FINISHES:

The long classic girth is available in malt leather with beige stitching or black leather with black stitching, offering aesthetic options to suit individual preferences.

The girth comes with a dedicated storage bag. 

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

Clean your girth after each use using glycerine soap and a damp sponge to preserve the strength and suppleness of the leather.

Moisturize your leather girth once or twice a month by applying leather balm to a clean cloth or sponge.

Soften your leather girth once or twice a year using leather oil. Apply with a brush for optimum results.

COMPOSITION:

The long classic girth is created from French leather, carefully selected for its exceptional characteristics. The thickness, density and hold of the leathers are rigorously controlled to guarantee their performance and durability. A specific vegetable tanning process, based on the use of chestnut bark, has been developed exclusively for Antarès leathers.
