ANTARES - Short classic girth

The short classic girth is specially designed to provide optimum comfort for horses, especially those with sensitive skin.

Its anatomical shape improves locomotion by avoiding discomfort in the horse's forehand.

Thanks to its ergonomic cut, this girth offers great freedom of movement, without restricting the horse's natural movements.

Its anatomical design limits pressure on the abdomen, ensuring the horse's well-being.

The straps are staggered for even distribution of girth pressure on the thorax.

The classic short girth is equipped with a D-ring and a leather tab for easy attachment of reins, offering great versatility.

For optimum use, we recommend adding a short girth liner (sold separately). This lining offers numerous advantages for the comfort and protection of the horse. It prevents irritation and friction on sensitive skin, while being washable and hypoallergenic.

Choosing a leather girth offers many advantages. Leather is a high-quality, hypoallergenic material that provides optimum comfort for the horse. It is also renowned for its strength and durability, guaranteeing long-lasting use of the girth. 

FINISHES:

The short classic girth is available in malt leather with beige stitching or black leather with black stitching, offering aesthetic options to suit individual preferences.

The girth comes with a dedicated storage bag. 

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

Clean your girth after each use using glycerine soap and a damp sponge to preserve the strength and suppleness of the leather.

Moisturize your leather girth once or twice a month by applying leather balm to a clean cloth or sponge.

Soften your leather girth once or twice a year using leather oil. Apply with a brush for optimum results.

COMPOSITION:

The short classic girth is created from French leather, carefully selected for its exceptional characteristics. The thickness, density and hold of the leathers are rigorously controlled to guarantee their performance and durability. A specific vegetable tanning process, based on the use of chestnut bark, has been developed exclusively for Antarès leathers.
